Welcome to Safe Child Tourism in Cambodia

Welcome to Don Bosco Children Fund of Cambodia in Sihanoukville.

There is only an intention and a dream: to see all the Cambodian children going to school.

Benefits: children will secure a best future in society; they will be out of the circle of abuse, violence, human traffic, child prostitution, drugs and many other social evils.

The DBFC was founded in 1991 in Phnom Penh to support children from the most poor conditions to join school and guarantee their food. The organization has built several schools in many Cambodian provinces, support programs for children with HIV, literacy centers for children of the brick factories and street children and many other programs thanks to the help of many benefactors.

Sponsor a Cambodian child:

He/she can attend school.
He/she can have a healthy food.
He/she will be kept out of dangers due to the DBCF following up.
He/she can receive medical attention when it is needed.
His/her family will receive values' formation in the education of children.
Your foster child will send you a letter and you will receive reports from him/her.
You can visit Cambodia and share with his/her family.
The child can join the Don Bosco Technical School when his/her basic education is over, in order to get a skill for a future job.

Brother Sun House: for retreats, conferences, seminars and activities for children and youth.

The Sihanokville office of DBCF is located in the Brother Sun House:

Child and youth library.
Store for goods.
Distribution every month to the families of the beneficiated children.
In association with the Youth Center daily activities for children like some informal lessons provided by some young leaders.
Eventually some meals, especially on Sundays.

The Sihanoukville branch is currently supporting 206 children from Sihanoukville and neighboring villages: that is a small number. There are many other children waiting.

If you come to Sihanoukville and think you can sponsor a child with the Don Bosco Children Fund program, please visit us. Do not give money to children in the streets and beaches. If you want to support a specific child, please call us or send us an email. Anyone of our staff will go to visit you and the child and will study the possibilities of help.
