Thanks to all the persons and institutions that support our work in favor of the Cambodian youth people:

A library from Holland

On June 2007 Don Bosco Sihanoukville got a container from Holland with some things for the programs. These are the benefactors:

• From the late Mr. Heng Hendriks, the brother of Mrs. Thea de Vries, the wife of our dear friend, benefactor and volunteer Mr. Kees de Vries, we got several books for our youth library. The books belonged to Mr. Hendriks who had great works of the classic literature. Thanks to the family of Mr. Hendriks and the de Vries family.

The work of Don Bosco in Cambodia - as in other countries - is possible thanks to the support of many benefactors from around the world. It is thanks to them that we can provide skill formation for youth in poor conditions or at risk.

For transfers to the Salesian work in Cambodia

Filling the transfer to our works, you must write down the particulars about to what in specific you are doing a donation. Otherwise it would be use in the most needed area of the work:

• Supporting the Don Bosco Technical Schools:
  • Scholarship for youth with economic difficulties.
  • Funds for machinaries, maintenance and other academic tools.
  • Funds for the qualification of the technical instructors.
  • Funds for volunteers and professional assistance.

• Supporting the Don Bosco Hotel School:
  • Scholarship for youth with economic difficulties.
  • Funds for machinaries, maintenance and other academic tools.
  • Funds for the qualification of the technical instructors.
  • Funds for volunteers and professional assistance.

• Supporting the youth center and social communication section:
  • Library.
  • Computers and Internet for the students.
  • Teachers of sport, music, languages and computers.
  • Material for literacy centers to children with difficulties to attend a school.
